Awards and Fellowships

The Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences stand for the dialogue between science and society. Scientific scholarships in politics allow young researchers to mediate between science and the Parliament. «For Women in Science», sponsored by L'Oréal and UNESCO, encourages women in their scientific careers. Moreover, prizes are awarded to honour people who succeeded in making scientific knowledge available to a wide public.
